In the past hundred of years, many excellent painters devoted themselves arduously to explore the traditional Chinese Shanshui Art, to whom ,the solitary goal is to find the grounds that the Shanshui Art could be surviving and enhanced. Xu Longsen has been putting his efforts diligently in Shangshui Art for more than twenty years. Now it`s flowering and fruiting. Xu Longsen`s Shanshui paintings present an open form, which is the key to open the door of future. To my thought, the future of Shanshui Art must be derived from this open form,and there is no other way to get there.
